In recent years, with the rapid development of artificial intelligence and other technologies, the humanoid robot industry, as the best carrier of embodied intelligence, is experiencing explosive growth. Among them, joint modules, as the core components of humanoid robots, directly determine the robot’s motion performance and flexibility. Their price also determines the robot’s final “value” and lifeline.

Yiyou Technology is a leading domestic provider of integrated joints, focusing on the core “joint” components of humanoid robots. With deep expertise in servo drive control and joint modules, the company took the lead in achieving mass production of integrated humanoid robot joints in 2023. Its self-developed high-performance all-hardware servo drive control solution has reached international leading levels in key indicators such as control accuracy, response speed, and vibration suppression.

The joint modules produced by the company are excellent in performance and highly stable, widely used in humanoid robots, collaborative robotic arms, industrial automation, and other high-end equipment fields. It is one of the few global solution providers capable of “mass production + international export” of joint systems.

Sun Zeju, founder and chairman of Jiangsu Yiyou Robot Technology Co., Ltd., stated that during the early development stage of humanoid robots, joints were basically in a “guarding initial stage.” Since the company launched its automated production line last year, robot joints have transitioned from a “manual assembly stage” to an “automated production stage,” and this process is irreversible. To achieve automated production of joints, the company has invested heavily in R&D and testing, reducing defect rates from one-thousandth to ten-thousandth, providing strong assurance for increasing production capacity and improving quality of humanoid robots.

Since 2018, the company has established its mass production operation center in Xidong New City. At this critical stage of capacity expansion and strategic upgrade, Yiyou Technology’s renewed layout on pioneering technological innovation not only reflects high recognition of the regional industrial ecosystem and geographical advantages but also builds on the good cooperation foundation established after the initial mass production operation center was set up.

The current base project, centered on “full automation and industrialization,” plans to set up 30 automated production lines, creating a closed-loop automation system covering the entire production process and system integration. Once completed, it will have an annual capacity of 3 million integrated humanoid robot joints, ranking among the top global automated humanoid robot joint manufacturing bases, with an expected annual output value of 1.5 billion yuan.

The Yiyou Technology humanoid robot joint fully automated industrialization base project in Xishan will significantly reduce manufacturing costs through large-scale, automated production, break through key bottlenecks between technological R&D and scene application, and accelerate the industry from the “prototype era” into the “industrialization era.” It will also attract upstream and downstream ecological partners to gather in Xishan, jointly deepen the robotics-related industry, promote industrial clustering, and inject core momentum into the global robot industry’s scale-up process.
