A-shares Market Close: The three major indices declined on lower trading volume, with the Shanghai Composite Index down 1%. Over 4,700 stocks in the entire market declined.
As of the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 1% to 3880.10 points, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.99% to 13352.90 points, the ChiNext Index fell 0.73% to 3149.60 points, and the Beizhen 50 fell 2.12% to 1254.68 points. The total trading value across the whole market was 188.9B yuan, down 1889 billion yuan from the previous trading day. In terms of sectors and themes, the photoresist/photolithography equipment and CPO sectors led the gains; the coal, oil & gas, and breeding industry sectors led the declines. On the trading board, the photolithography equipment sector continued to trend higher; China Shipbuilding Special Gas (Csnc) rose to a 20CM daily limit, Sinoray Optics and Medika surged more than 10%, and CnCera Electronics hit a daily limit. The CPO sector strengthened; Yitian Shares, Deko Li, and Weiting Electrical hit 20CM daily limits, while Tengjing Technology and GLOKOM Technology rose more than 10%. The coal sector continued to weaken; Yunmei Energy and Shanxi Black Cat fell more than 8%. The oil & gas sector opened lower and kept sliding; Bohui Shares fell more than 10%, while Xin Natural Gas and Blue Flame Holdings fell more than 5%. The breeding industry continued to tumble; Jingji Zhinong hit a daily limit, while Xiaoming Shares and Xiangjia Shares fell more than 5%.
