Iranian Foreign Minister and Pakistani Foreign Minister discuss regional situation in a phone call

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held a phone call with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar on the evening of the 4th, exchanging views on the latest developments in the region and bilateral relations. During the phone call, Amir-Abdollahian said the United States and Israel, as the instigators of this “imposed war,” are the culprits behind current regional turmoil and its impact on the world. He emphasized that Iran has a firm resolve to use all means to continue defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Dar provided a detailed account of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to stop military aggression against Iran and to restore peace and stability in the region, and stressed the importance of continuing consultations to achieve this goal.
