Restart! WeRide will resume operations of the Dubai Robotaxi fleet this week.

On March 5, a reporter from 21st Century Business Herald learned from Wenyuan Zhixing that the company’s Robotaxi operation service in Dubai will resume this week. Earlier, affected by the situation in Iran, Chinese autonomous driving technology companies Wenyuan Zhixing and Luobo Kuai Pao announced on March 1 that their Robotaxi fleets in Dubai, the UAE, would temporarily suspend operations. Wenyuan Zhixing also told reporters that the company will work with RTA Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority to formally launch fully driverless commercial operations of Robotaxis in Dubai within this month, to support Dubai’s development vision of having 25% of transportation trips by 2030 handled by autonomous driving.
