Baidu promotes the integration of large models with search and recommendation services

March 18, Baidu appointed He Jingszhou, formerly from the Big Model Algorithms Department, to rotate into the Mobile Ecology Business Group (MEG) from the Foundation Model Research and Development Department (BMU). He will serve as the head of the Baidu App Research and Development Center’s organization and report to Luo Rong. The rotation will drive the integration of large models with search and promotion/shipping (搜推) operations, strengthening the application of cutting-edge technologies such as large models in core scenarios including search and recommendations. Previously, Baidu MEG carried out an organizational restructuring: all search businesses on PC and mobile were merged, with Li Xiaowan responsible for user production and operations.
