Xinhua Net comments on "Zhang Xue Locomotive" winning double crowns: Doing difficult but right things, time will eventually prove it

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, April 1—Title: Do difficult but right things, and time will eventually prove it

Xinhua News Agency reporter Zhao Gang

Recently, at the Portuguese round of the World Superbike Championship (WSBK), the Chinese motorcycle brand “Zhangxue Motorcycle” won double crowns, breaking a decades-long monopoly held by Western, Japanese, and other brands, and creating history.

Starting as an ordinary motorcycle repair apprentice, Zhangxue poured out twenty years of sweat and solitude, and ultimately culminated in the pinnacle moment on the WSBK track. Unafraid of giving up everything and starting over, and undaunted by technical barriers and cold mockery, he used his love for motorcycles and his persistence to interpret the true meaning of “doing difficult but right things.”

Love can withstand the long passage of time; focus can overcome technical barriers.

The success of “Zhangxue Motorcycle” reaching the top is by no means accidental. Behind it lies the strong industrial base of Chongqing’s “motorcycle capital,” as well as China’s increasingly well-developed supply chain system.

The glory of a championship deserves celebration, but the road ahead remains long. Winning once is a declaration of breakthrough, while staying ahead requires transforming this dedication and passion into ongoing innovation momentum and system-level competitive capabilities. We look forward to the story of “Zhangxue Motorcycle,” like a flag, inspiring more Chinese manufacturers in various fields to, with the same love and focus, run with acceleration on the track they choose and create new miracles.
