ME News message, April 5 (UTC+8). On April 5, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement saying that in the early hours of the same day, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy and Aerospace Force jointly launched the 96th wave of the “True Promise -4” operation. The statement said the Revolutionary Guard Corps launched a fierce attack on the Haifa oil refinery that supplies fuel to Israeli fighter jets, destroying its core components; it used missiles to strike the natural gas facilities of ExxonMobil and Chevron in Habshan, UAE, as well as the petrochemical plant in Ruwais, UAE. In addition, multiple petrochemical facilities located in Sitra, Bahrain and Shuaybah, Kuwait were also hit by drones and missiles, causing the affected facilities to come to a complete halt in operation and triggering large-scale fires.
