According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on March 18 the “Agricultural Products Wholesale Price 200 Index” was 122.26, down 0.17 points from yesterday. The wholesale price index for “vegetable basket” products was 123.88, down 0.20 points from yesterday. As of today at 14:00, the national wholesale market average price for pork was 16.18 yuan per kilogram, down 0.1% from yesterday; beef was 66.15 yuan per kilogram, unchanged from yesterday; mutton was 64.68 yuan per kilogram, up 0.2% from yesterday; eggs were 7.55 yuan per kilogram, up 0.4% from yesterday; and dressed chicken was 17.29 yuan per kilogram, up 0.5% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.88 yuan per kilogram, unchanged from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.88 yuan per kilogram, up 0.5% from yesterday. Crucian carp was 19.85 yuan per kilogram, down 0.1% from yesterday; carp was 14.42 yuan per kilogram, down 0.2% from yesterday; silver carp was 10.47 yuan per kilogram, down 1.7% from yesterday; and large hairtail was 42.21 yuan per kilogram, up 1.3% from yesterday.
