The White House denies rumors of Trump being seriously ill and hospitalized

Deep Tide TechFlow message: On April 4, local time, a report about Donald Trump being gravely ill and hospitalized quickly ignited the U.S. internet. In response, White House communications director Steven Cheung posted a debunking message. During this Easter weekend, President Trump has been working nonstop at the White House and in the Oval Office. After Trump posted on his social account the message “missing pilot has been rescued,” he posted again, saying: “Let those nauseating journalists who keep questioning the President’s whereabouts see what President Trump is doing.” The White House also responded to online speculation through its official account: “When President Trump goes 12 consecutive hours without taking media interviews, those unhinged left-wingers start making up absurd conspiracy theories. (But when Biden often goes 12 consecutive days without taking media interviews, they say nothing.) Don’t worry! President Trump has never stopped working.” In addition, the White House sharply condemned the account spreading the rumor that “Trump is gravely ill and hospitalized” as “a weapons-grade moron.”

It is understood that on April 4, local time, Trump’s schedule suddenly listed only “administrative time.” That morning, the White House announced the media term “lid,” suggesting the president would not make any further public appearances that day. Social media users interpreted “lid,” Trump’s lack of public appearances, and the subsequent lack of public activity as potential evidence that he was sent to Walter Reed Hospital for treatment.
