The World Economic Forum announced the postponement of the originally scheduled meeting in Saudi Arabia, another high-profile event affected by the Iran war.

In a statement on Tuesday, the organization said that the “Global Cooperation and Growth Conference” scheduled to be held in Jeddah in April has been rescheduled due to developments in the current regional situation.

Private equity firm Partners Group Holding AG has moved its annual global investor conference from Abu Dhabi to Switzerland. Similarly, JPMorgan is also rearranging an event originally planned for the end of this month in Dubai, which is limited to institutional investors, corporate executives, and financial sponsors.

The World Economic Forum stated that this decision reflects a commitment to ensuring the conference is held under conditions that allow it to fully realize its strategic impact, and added that a new date will be announced in due course.
