On March 19, the 2026 Customs Port Supervision Work Conference was held in Shenzhen. The meeting emphasized that in 2026, national customs port supervision departments should strengthen standardized and professional operational regulations, enhance efforts to detect false reports, concealments, smuggling, and diversion, strictly adhere to supervision red lines and safety bottom lines, continuously improve port face supervision and safety management capabilities, actively promote the development of new foreign trade formats such as cross-border e-commerce and overseas warehouses, deepen innovation in multimodal transport supervision, reduce costs and increase efficiency in cross-border trade, and help ensure the stability and smooth operation of the industrial and supply chains.
