Daily Economic News reporter: Li Xing    Daily Economic Editor: Yu Tingting

On March 24, Professor and Vice President of Beijing Institute of Technology Wang Bo stated at the 3rd Beijing Hydrogen Energy Industry Conference and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Summit that over the next 40 years, the proportion of non-fossil energy consumption will increase rapidly. It is expected that by 2035 and 2060, China’s non-fossil energy share will exceed 27% and 80%, respectively, strongly supporting carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.

Wang Bo emphasized that the issues with hydrogen are not just about hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, but about its potential to do many things.
