Guandian.com News: On March 24, according to customs statistics, in the first two months of this year, the total foreign trade import and export value of 11 provinces and cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt reached 3.64 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19%, accounting for 47.1% of the national total, setting a new record for the same period in history.

According to reports, imports amounted to 1.32 trillion yuan, and exports totaled 2.32 trillion yuan. In terms of markets, the region continues to deepen economic and trade cooperation with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, accounting for 46.7% of the country’s total imports and exports with Belt and Road countries; in terms of products, the “new content” continues to increase, accounting for 48.7% of the country’s high-tech product imports and exports.
