Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 24 — According to CoinDesk, Apex Group, a fund services giant managing over $3.5 trillion in assets, announced that it will tokenize Omnes Mining Note (OMN) on Coinbase’s Ethereum Layer 2 platform, Base. OMN is an institutional-grade structured note backed by Bitcoin mining power, targeted at professional non-U.S. investors. It offers an economic exposure directly linked to new Bitcoin production without the operational burdens of mining infrastructure, hardware, energy, or compliance. Each OMN corresponds to a fixed 1 PH/s of mining power, with a 36-month term. Ownership is recorded on-chain via the ERC-3643 standard and may be used as collateral for licensed lending in the future.
