Abstract generation in progress

Google Photos has officially introduced a new creative tool called Me Meme, helping users in the U.S. turn everyday portrait photos into fun memes with just a few taps. This Me Meme tool is built on generative AI technology, providing a more enjoyable and easier content creation experience.

How to Use Me Meme on Google Photos

Creating memes with Me Meme is quite simple. Users can choose from official templates provided or upload a reference photo of their own. Then, they need to select a clear, well-lit portrait photo so the AI algorithm can process it accurately. Once the meme is generated, users have full control to edit, save to their library, or share immediately.

Additional Features of Me Meme

Besides creating memes, the tool also allows users to recreate previously made memes and experiment with different templates. Me Meme is integrated into the Create tab in Google Photos, which contains other AI tools to help users edit and produce creative content.

Current Deployment Scope

This feature is gradually rolling out to users in the U.S. on both Android and iOS platforms. Although Google has not announced further details about global expansion plans, Me Meme clearly indicates the company’s direction of integrating AI into users’ daily creative tools.
