Aveni selected by Quilter to introduce AI into advice operations
At this initial stage, Aveni Assist has been deployed to all advisers across the Quilter network, enabling them to record, transcribe and summarise client meetings and agreed actions. The aim is to significantly cut the time spent on manual paperwork and increase the capacity to formulate and deliver recommendations.
The tool also helps capture key information from face-to-face and online meetings, allowing advisers to stay focused on client conversations rather than note taking. It is being used internally across the business as well, supporting more consistent documentation and knowledge sharing.
The work forms part of a broader modernisation of adviser technology, which includes Quilter’s ongoing collaboration with FNZ to strengthen the integration between its platform and the back-office systems used across its network.
Steve Gazard, chief distribution officer at Quilter, says: “Increasing the use of digital tools, and AI in particular, is becoming essential to strengthening how advisers work with clients. Aveni Assist helps reduce complexity and gives advisers more time for the conversations that shape good financial decisions.
“The fundamentals of advice will not change because clients still want personal support from someone who understands their circumstances. Technology’s role is to remove friction and help advisers focus on the parts of the relationship that matter most. Our aim is to create the space for advisers to continue to deliver a high quality experience, with our award winning platform and wider enhancements working together to keep Quilter the natural home of professional advice.”
