Brazilian soybean shipments accelerate, with shipping volumes still at high seasonal levels

Mysteel Agricultural Products Statistics show that as of March 20, the total soybean shipment plan from Brazilian ports to China is 8.537009 million tons. Although slightly below last week’s 8.660012 million tons, it remains the highest level in recent years for the same period. The arrival of ships in China from late April to early May is expected to increase significantly, easing fears of supply disruptions. Regarding shipments, as of March 20, the total amount shipped from Brazilian ports to China since March is 6.535711 million tons, an increase of 2.624315 million tons compared to last week. Although slightly below last week’s 2.957786 million tons, the overall level is clearly better than last month.
