Agents have no identity, so they have no wallet; without a wallet, traditional payment platforms shut them out directly. Now almost every platform operates on subscriptions—monthly fees, fixed amounts per month. But Agents calling APIs are naturally not subscription-based logic—they operate on a per-task basis: which interfaces need to be called this time, how much does it cost in total, use it and move on.

The contradiction in cost structure is even more realistic. Traditional online payments charge a 3% fee, plus a fixed cost of roughly $0.3 per transaction. Yet an Agent completing a task might only spend $0.01 to $0.1—the transaction fee is more expensive than the task itself. This directly blocks Agents from conducting micro-transactions.
