Zhou Liang, who served as Vice Chairman of the China Banking Regulatory Commission in 2017, Vice Chairman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission in 2018, and Vice Director of the Financial Regulatory Bureau in 2023, has officially announced his downfall today at age 55. Born in 1971, Zhou Liang has nearly 10 years of experience at the vice-ministerial level. Zhou Liang, Party Committee Member and Vice Director of the National Financial Supervision and Management Administration, is suspected of serious violations of Party disciplines and laws. He is currently undergoing Party discipline and supervisory investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.
