Hexun Investment Advisor Ge Hongliang: If You Don't Sell, You Won't Lose!

Abstract generation in progress

“Not selling means not losing money,” this statement actually makes some sense. People like this are practically born enemies of the main players.

Main players manipulate the market—washing out, smashing, fake breakouts—doing all these tricks with one goal: to shake you out and buy your chips at a low price. But there are always these kinds of people in the market—main players have no way to deal with them—they won’t sell when smashed, they won’t panic and sell when prices spike and fall back, and they can stay flat for months. They may not understand much technical analysis, but the main players hate their non-cooperation the most.

Many people have a misconception: when their account drops, it means someone else has made money. That’s not true. The drop is just your price, not cash. As long as you haven’t sold, it’s only unrealized loss—your money is still there, your chips are still there. The real reason unrealized losses turn into realized losses is not the decline itself, but because you can’t handle the emotional stress, panic and sell, and thus confirm your losses with your own hands.

Remember one point: the main players are not afraid of your intelligence or your technical skills—they’re only afraid of your stable mindset and holding your position. No matter how they manipulate, they can’t shake you out. As long as you can hold your chips and keep a steady mind, you’ll be the one laughing last.
