Handata Information: AI Has Entered the "Implementation Phase" From "Making Slogans"

Securities Daily, March 22 — HanDe Information stated during a recent survey that the most direct impression from the Wuhan User Conference is: AI has moved from just “shouting slogans” to the practical stage of “seeing real implementation.” The most in-depth discussions at the event were no longer about technical blueprints but focused on specific application scenarios, real challenges in deployment, and lessons learned to avoid pitfalls. Observations show that companies’ investment logic in AI is shifting — from traditional IT expenses to strategic capital expenditure. Currently, this investment is mainly concentrated in two areas: first, production restructuring investments. Companies prefer to use AI to deeply reorganize existing production chains. This is not just about iterating a single tool but represents a leap in productivity, aiming to significantly improve business efficiency. There are precedents for this logic in automation upgrades within manufacturing. Second, product empowerment investments. Some pioneering companies are internalizing AI capabilities into their products through self-development, investments, or acquisitions. This indicates a shift from merely being “technology users” to becoming “AI capability enablers,” enhancing their market competitiveness. The scale of corporate AI investments has also seen notable growth. With successful case studies, some leading clients’ budgets are trending toward tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of yuan. Additionally, considering data security and core control, building private computing centers has become an important factor for large clients when deploying AI. Overall, AI is becoming a key variable in companies’ real financial investments and in building market competitiveness.
