Last year, I saw a job posting from a company near my home recruiting for an administrative position. No experience required, monthly salary of 6000. I submitted my resume and quickly received an interview notice.

When I arrived, they asked me to submit a large pile of photocopied documents. The interview lasted less than ten minutes before they told me to go home and wait for their notification. I thought I had performed poorly.

It wasn't until this year that I found out the company had been shut down. Turns out they weren't actually hiring at all. Their only "business" was posting fake job listings. Whenever someone submitted a resume, they'd call them in for an interview, then require them to provide photocopies of various identity documents.

Many people didn't bring complete documents, so they had to go downstairs to the copy shop. Each copy cost 5 yuan, and most people found it convenient to just print there directly.

The company only had two employees—one to collect the materials and one to manage the copying machine. Operating this way for a year, they made several hundred thousand yuan just from copy fees.
