Anixa Biosciences announced that Dr. Jose Conejo-Garcia will be a keynote speaker at the South Carolina Clinical & Translational Research Institute 2026 Retreat. Dr. Conejo-Garcia is the co-inventor of Anixa’s FSHR-mediated CAR-T technology and his presentation will cover their Phase 1 clinical trial of liraltagene autoleucel (lira-cel) for recurrent ovarian cancer. Lira-cel uniquely targets the follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR) found in ovarian cells, tumor vasculature, and certain cancer cells.
