Wu said that the decentralized trading platform edgeX announced the launch of the Arbitrum-based application-specific Rollup EDGE Chain, designed to build high-performance on-chain trading infrastructure. The chain adopts a modular architecture, separating transaction execution from DeFi logic to improve processing efficiency in high-frequency trading environments. Previously, Circle Ventures announced a strategic partnership with edgeX, and EDGE Chain will support native USDC and the cross-chain transfer protocol CCTP. edgeX stated that the chain is expected to go live in March.
