The incident occurred on Monday morning when three suspects posing as police officers broke into the residence in Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt, threatened the couple with knives, and forced the husband to transfer Bitcoin. The criminals then tied up the man, injured both of them, and fled in a white van. The wife later rescued her husband, called the police around 9 a.m. local time, and notified neighbors.
