Startup Sandbar, founded by former Meta employees, raised $23 million in Series A funding led by Adjacent and Kindred Ventures for the development of its Stream smart ring. Stream is an AI-focused smart ring with note-taking capabilities that can be activated via a touch panel, record notes when near the face, and integrate with mobile apps for AI chat and media control. Pre-orders are currently sold out, with shipments expected this summer. The company plans to further improve its app, reduce AI response latency, and develop smart workflows. Sandbar has now raised a total of $36 million.
