Xiaohongshu releases open-source image editing model
A reporter has learned that Xiaohongshu has released the open-source image editing model FireRed-Image-Edit version 1.1. The model also introduces an Agent module for handling multi-image editing tasks. When users input more than three images, the system automatically performs region detection, image cropping, and stitching, then rewrites the editing instructions based on the new image structure to improve the success rate of complex editing tasks. It is reported that the company also plans to release a lightweight editing model, an image editing benchmark dataset called REDEdit-Bench, and a new version of the text-to-image generation model in the future.
