The military says the state of emergency "will continue for a long time"

Chief of the German Armed Forces General Staff, Zamil, said on the same day that the situation has been “long-term emergency” since the outbreak of a new round of Israeli-Palestinian conflict in October 2023. As the conflict between Israel and Iran continues, this state “will last for a long time.” (Xinhua)
