Guangdong: By 2035, cultivate more than 100 new industry tracks, with new track industries and market sizes surpassing 10 trillion yuan

The General Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province issued the “Action Plan for Accelerating the Cultivation and Development of New Tracks to Lead the Construction of a Modern Industrial System (2026–2035).” The plan proposes that by 2030, a preliminary mechanism for cultivating and promoting new tracks across the province will be established, aiming to develop more than three tracks valued at over one trillion yuan, more than five tracks valued at over 500 billion yuan, and over ten tracks valued at over 100 billion yuan. It also aims to have over 40,000 specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, more than 3,500 national “Little Giant” specialized and innovative enterprises, and over 350 national manufacturing single-plant champion enterprises. By 2035, a long-term mechanism for the continuous emergence of new tracks will be improved, with policy support, factor guarantees, and institutional supply continuously strengthened. Over 100 new industry tracks will be cultivated, with the scale of new track industries and markets surpassing 10 trillion yuan, making Guangdong a leading and benchmark region for global new track development.
