Live Nation Entertainment is reportedly nearing a settlement in a federal antitrust lawsuit that would allow it to avoid selling its Ticketmaster unit. The U.S. Justice Department and several states sued Live Nation in May 2024, seeking to break up the company over alleged illegal inflation of concert ticket prices and harm to artists. A final agreement is expected to be announced in the coming days, with some state attorneys general also signaling their intent to join the settlement.
