Expansion of 260,000 base stations, nationwide communication networks operated smoothly and stably during the Spring Festival period

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the information and communication industry fully strengthened network and communication service support during the Spring Festival holiday, ensuring the overall smooth operation of the national communication network. During the holiday, the Ministry guided telecom companies to monitor the network operation of over 13,000 transportation hubs and key scenic spots nationwide. To ensure a good user experience, more than 260,000 4G and 5G base stations were expanded as needed. Additionally, over 21,000 critical circuits were provided to key clients such as the Emergency Management Department, Ministry of Transport, and China Railway Group, completing support for more than 8,000 important scenarios.
