GateAI launches the web portal and expands multiple AI assistant capabilities to create an intelligent interaction service layer for the trading platform

Global leading digital asset trading platform Gate announces that its AI product, GateAI, is now officially available on the web platform, along with the largest feature expansion since its launch. This upgrade not only introduces AI services to the web interface but also adds more than ten new modules, including user center, marketing campaigns, asset management, and personalized recommendations, elevating GateAI from a trading assistant tool to an intelligent service gateway throughout the user journey.

As AI technology continues to deepen its application in financial services, it is gradually becoming an essential interaction method on trading platforms. After launching on the web platform, users can now directly ask AI questions via a fixed entry point at the bottom of any page—whether browsing the homepage, market data, products, or help center—to receive market analysis, product explanations, and platform usage guides. Additionally, GateAI intelligently recommends questions based on the current page, helping users quickly find information and proceed with subsequent actions.

In terms of interaction experience, Gate provides an independent full-page chat interface for GateAI. This interface integrates modules such as market sentiment indicators, industry news feeds, and recommended topics, allowing users to observe market data, gather information, and engage in in-depth conversations all within the same page. Logged-in users can also view their chat history and continue new analyses or questions based on previous conversations. Currently, the GateAI web version supports core functions such as spot trading, wealth management subscriptions, IPO applications, and instant exchanges.

Besides the web platform, another key aspect of this upgrade is the comprehensive expansion of GateAI’s capabilities. The platform has added multiple modules to the GateAI app, including user center, marketing activities, unified accounts, asset management and quantification, rebate systems, and new user onboarding, enabling AI to support more platform operations and officially upgrade from an “AI trading assistant” to an intelligent service layer that spans the entire user journey.

In terms of personalized services, GateAI can recommend financial products based on users’ asset structures and risk preferences, and guide new users through key steps such as KYC, first deposit, and initial transaction. Through natural language interaction, users can trigger complex operations that previously required multiple pages, simplifying the platform experience.

Building on previously launched features such as spot trading, wealth management subscriptions, Launchpool, instant exchanges, and gift cards, GateAI now covers multiple stages from registration, identity verification, trade execution, asset allocation, to daily account management. With the addition of the web platform, GateAI’s service capabilities across different devices are further unified.

This upgrade also reflects Gate’s ongoing investment in AI infrastructure. Previously, Gate introduced the infrastructure Gate for AI, which opens core exchange capabilities via APIs, allowing AI to directly access market data, execute trades, and retrieve on-chain information.
