Huawei’s flagship smartphone market performance remains strong, with the latest data showing that the Mate 80 series has successfully surpassed 4 million units sold. As of Week 9 in 2026, the total sales of the series are approximately 4.0548 million units, demonstrating high consumer recognition for Huawei’s high-end models.

Released on November 25 last year, the Mate 80 series is Huawei’s annual flagship lineup, including the standard, Pro, Pro Max, and RS Porsche Design versions, with a starting price of 4,699 yuan. The entire series is equipped with Kirin 9020/9030/9030 Pro processors and is the first to come pre-installed with HarmonyOS 6, achieving comprehensive upgrades in performance and ecosystem experience.

Previously, due to supply chain issues, some models of the Mate 80 series were out of stock for an extended period. After capacity adjustments, the 16GB RAM versions of the Mate 80 Pro and Mate 80 Pro Max are now fully available for purchase, with consumers able to place orders directly through official channels. This improvement in supply has directly driven continuous sales growth, especially in the high-end market.

Industry analysts note that the success of the Mate 80 series is attributed to Huawei’s ongoing investments in chip R&D, system optimization, and imaging technology. Despite external challenges, Huawei maintains the competitiveness of its flagship products through technological innovation, with its self-developed Kirin chips and HarmonyOS deeply integrated as key advantages.
