Guangming Meat Industry: Li Junlong resigns as President, appoints Wang Wei as the new President

Beijing Business Daily (Reporter Guo Xiujuan, Wang Yuetong) reported that on March 9, Guangming Meat Industry announced that the company’s board of directors recently received a written resignation letter from Li Junlong. Due to work adjustments, Li Junlong has applied to resign from his position as President of the company, and his resignation will take effect from the date it is delivered to the board. After resigning as President, Li Junlong will continue to serve as a director, chairman, chairman of the Strategic Committee of the Board, and as a member of the Nomination Committee and the Compensation and Performance Evaluation Committee. Meanwhile, on March 9, 2026, the company held the seventh meeting of the tenth board of directors, during which it approved the appointment of Wang Wei as President of the company, with a term from the date of approval by the board until the end of the tenth board’s term.

The announcement states that Wang Wei, born in 1976, holds a master’s degree, is a member of the Communist Party of China, and has previously served as General Manager of the Ambient Marketing Center, Chief Administrative Officer, and General Manager of the Nutritional Products Marketing Center at Guangming Dairy Co., Ltd. He is currently Vice President of Shanghai Guangming Meat Industry Group Co., Ltd., and serves as a director, manager, and legal representative of Shanghai Gansu Food Co., Ltd.
