Odaily Planet Daily reports that according to foreign media, the organization TankerTrackers.com, which monitors ship movements via satellite imagery, states that Iran is still transporting a large amount of crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz. Co-founder Samir Madani said that since the outbreak of war on February 28, Iran has transported at least 11 to 12 million barrels of crude oil through the waterway. The actual number may be higher, but satellite data collection has been delayed due to the conflict. Because TankerTrackers.com uses satellite imagery for monitoring, they can track vessel movements even if ships turn off their digital transponders. (Jin10)
