Supreme Court Report: Combating "Involution" Competition and Hearing Two Major E-commerce "Choose One" Cases
Source: CCTV News
People’s Financial News, March 9 — The second plenary session of the Fourth National People’s Congress of the 14th term was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on the morning of March 9. Zhang Jun, the President of the Supreme People’s Court, delivered the work report of the Supreme People’s Court.
The report shows that by 2025, efforts will be made to address “involution” competition, strengthen judicial enforcement against anti-monopoly and unfair competition, with 27 cases identified as monopolistic conduct; two major e-commerce companies’ “choose one of the two” abuse of market dominance cases were tried, guiding both parties toward mutual benefit and shared consumption growth.
