London: The UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke on the phone today with US President Donald Trump, to discuss the latest situation in the Middle East.

According to a statement from the UK Prime Minister’s Office, the leaders discussed the military cooperation between the UK and US through the use of RAF bases in support of the collective self-defense of partners in the region.

It is noted that the UK did not join the first strikes carried out by the US and Israel against Iran but later granted permission to the US to use British bases to carry out limited defensive strikes.
