Brent crude oil prices have risen to exceed $100 per barrel, jumping to $109 per barrel, an increase of over 15% in the past 24 hours, amid escalating tensions between the United States and Iran, with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which transports 20% of the world's oil production.

Goldman Sachs (Goldman Sachs) predicts that prices could reach $150 per barrel before the end of March if no resolution is reached to the severe disruptions in crude oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz.
