Son of Khamenei, Mojtaba, elected as Iran's new Supreme Leader

Odaily Planet Daily reports that early this morning (March 9), Iranian experts’ meeting confirmed Muqtada al-Husayni as the new Supreme Leader of Iran. According to the Iranian Constitution, the Supreme Leader has almost the final say on major matters and serves as the Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s armed forces. Public information shows that Muqtada al-Husayni was born in 1969 and is the second son of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. (Jinshi)
