On March 2nd local time, a source from Ukraine’s National Security Service reported that UAVs from the Ukrainian Security Service, in coordination with other defense departments, carried out precise strikes on military and oil facilities at the Russian port of Novorossiysk. The source stated that the targeted oil terminal is one of the largest oil and petroleum product transshipment hubs in southern Russia and a key logistical supply facility along the Russian Black Sea coast, providing fuel to Russian troops operating inside Ukraine. In the early hours of that day, Klyavchenko, the mayor of Novorossiysk, said that the area was attacked by Ukrainian drones, resulting in damage to six residential buildings and five private homes from drone debris, with one person injured.
