Bilibili aims to achieve full-year profitability by 2025

Information Times Report (Reporter Lu Yunlong): On March 5th, Bilibili (hereinafter referred to as “Bilibili”) announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ending December 31, 2025. The financial report shows that Bilibili’s total revenue in the fourth quarter reached 8.32 billion RMB, an 8% year-over-year increase, with net profit up 478% year-over-year; full-year total revenue was 30.35 billion RMB, a 13% increase; and adjusted net profit was 2.59 billion RMB, achieving profitability for the year.

In 2025, Bilibili’s active user numbers continued to accelerate growth for four consecutive quarters year-over-year. The average daily active users in the fourth quarter reached 113 million, a 10% increase; the average monthly active users reached 366 million, an 8% increase; and the average daily usage time also increased to 107 minutes, up 8 minutes year-over-year.

Bilibili Chairman and CEO Chen Rui stated, “In 2025, we achieved full-year profitability for the first time. Bilibili also proved one thing: a platform capable of continuously producing high-quality content and attracting top creators will withstand cycles and bring sustained growth and commercial value.”

In the fourth quarter, Bilibili’s traditional core categories maintained rapid growth. Notably, the playback time for anime content increased by 12% year-over-year, and gaming content increased by 24%. Bilibili has become the most recognized exclusive content launch platform for domestic and international game developers. In 2025, over 30 domestic and international companies and more than 40 games chose Bilibili for exclusive content launches.

New categories such as AI continue to emerge on Bilibili, becoming new content features. Over 120 million people consume AI content on Bilibili each month. In the fourth quarter, AI content playback time increased by 53% year-over-year. Users follow AI technology trends, evaluate model performance, explore application scenarios, and interact with industry professionals on Bilibili.

In July 2025, Bilibili was the first platform nationwide to launch the “video podcast” category. Currently, the video podcast user base has surpassed 67 million, with total playback time exceeding 8 billion minutes, producing top programs like “Lu Yu’s Slow Talk.”
