Introducing mKey – a Social and Financial Services App by FinServe

 mKey app by FinServeAfter taking a leap into the future with its official launch two weeks ago, Finserve has launched mKey, Africa’s first keyboard app.

The innovative app is the first ever to converge social, and financial services into an integrated lifestyle. In addition to providing these services, mKey rewards users the more they transact.

mKey brings a differentiated user experience to the market, by blending social with financial services. This fusion of financial and social comes with customized emojis with a unique Kenyan flavor; YetuMoji, stickers and gifs made for Kenyans by Kenyans. The app further gives its users the freedom to co-create and use their own emojis.

mKey is available on Google Play Store and developed to run on the Android 4.1 and above, and soon on IOS. The app is targeted at Kenya’s increasingly digital population that wants to perform financial transactions without visiting a bank or even switching apps.

The Unique Kenyan Experience Offering

Speaking during the launch of mKey, Finserve Managing Director, Jack Ngare said the app offers a unique social experience while at the same time offering convenient, safe and secure financial services.

mKey will enable users access local and international news, get aggregated local content, interact on social media, apply and pay for mobile loans, goods and services, in addition to sending and receiving money.

The app also includes a chama and group account that works like social chat groups, straight from the mKey keyboard. The chama account will support up to 10 members.
