On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a joint military operation against Iran, prompting Iran to retaliate. By March 7, the conflict had entered its eighth day, with Iran, the United States, and Israel releasing the latest reports.

Israeli military claims to have dropped over 7,500 bombs and carried out more than 3,400 airstrikes

On March 7, local time, Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson Deverlin stated that the Israeli Air Force dropped over 7,500 bombs during the past week of airstrikes against Iran. He noted that this number is twice the amount of bombs dropped during Israel’s attacks on Iran in June of last year.

Deverlin also said that Israel has conducted over 3,400 airstrikes so far.

The Israeli military also reported that recently, hundreds of fighter jets attacked Iran’s two most important ballistic missile production bases, severely damaging Iran’s missile manufacturing capacity—these bases are located in Parchin and Shahroud.

Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesperson: Over 200 targets of US and Israel hit in the first week of conflict

On the evening of March 7, Iranian IRGC spokesperson Naeini stated that in the first week of the conflict, Iran’s armed forces implemented a multi-layered offensive strategy. Data shows Iran conducted 600 missile strikes using various solid and liquid-fuel ballistic missiles and cruise missiles. Additionally, Iran launched 2,600 drone operations. Among these, over 200 sensitive targets at U.S. military bases and key Israeli facilities were precisely struck and destroyed.

Naeini emphasized that the scale of firepower Iran deployed in the first three days of the conflict is comparable to the total firepower used during the entire “12-day war” previously.

Naeini also stated that 17 ships belonging to the U.S., Israel, and their allies have been targeted so far.

Furthermore, U.S. military bases in Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE, and other countries have been repeatedly hit by missile and drone attacks.

In Israel, the government and military institutions—including government offices, the IDF General Staff, and the Ministry of Defense—have all been targeted by Iran. Additionally, key infrastructure such as Ben-Gurion International Airport, Ramateh David Air Force Base, Haifa port naval area, and military industrial facilities in Bnei Shmash and Ashdod have also been precisely struck.

Iran announces details of “Real Commitment 4” Round 26 operations

In the early hours of March 8, local time, the spokesperson for Iran’s Central Command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement revealing details of the 26th round of “Real Commitment 4” operations.

The statement said that during this operation, Iran used “Habar Shakan,” “Imad,” and “Qader” missiles to strike multiple targets across Israel from north to south, with some missiles equipped with cluster munitions.

The statement noted that because Iran’s radar systems had been destroyed in previous rounds of attacks, the current strikes were easier to carry out, and all launched missiles hit their intended targets.

The statement also mentioned that after U.S. forces attacked Iran’s Gasham Island desalination plant from the Juffair base in Bahrain, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps immediately used solid-fuel precision-guided missiles to retaliate against the U.S. base.

Additionally, several hours ago, Iran’s ground forces used drones to strike multiple Israeli military targets in Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Trump claims U.S. Navy sank 42 Iranian vessels and paralyzed their communication systems

On March 7, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that U.S. forces sank 42 Iranian naval vessels and paralyzed Iran’s communication systems within three days.

Trump said during a meeting in Miami, attended by leaders from 12 Western Hemisphere countries, that the U.S. action against Iran was “very successful,” and that the U.S. Navy sank 42 ships and disrupted Iran’s communications in just three days.

At the same meeting, Trump announced the formation of a “completely new military alliance” aimed at eradicating the drug cartels and terrorist networks ravaging the Western Hemisphere.

Trump again falsely claims he wants to participate in selecting Iran’s next leader

On March 7, local time, CCTV reporters learned that U.S. President Trump expressed a desire to participate in the selection of Iran’s next leader, stating he does not want the U.S. to face the same issues every five or ten years.

Trump had previously said on March 5 that he “must be personally involved” in choosing Iran’s next leader. On the same day, Trump stated he would not accept the son of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Khamenei as Iran’s new leader. He said, “I must be personally involved in the appointment.”
