Middle Eastern Civil Aviation "Window" Expands; Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Advises Citizens to Evacuate Quickly
[Caixin] Under the shadow of war, the “window” for Middle Eastern flights is further expanding. On March 6, Etihad Airways officially announced that it will resume multiple international commercial flights between March 6 and March 19, including routes to Abu Dhabi from Beijing, Hong Kong, Taipei, and other destinations worldwide.
On March 5, Emirates Airlines stated that it is operating a reduced flight schedule, covering 75 destinations worldwide from March 5 to 6.
On the same day, Qatar Airways announced that it would operate a limited number of relief flights starting today to support passengers stranded due to the current situation. By then, the three major Middle Eastern airlines had all begun resuming flight operations that were suspended due to the conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran on February 28.
