Trump claims considering expanding the scope of strikes; Iran may face a "very heavy blow"
On March 7th local time, U.S. President Trump issued a statement on social media stating that Iran may face a “very heavy blow” today.
Trump claimed that Iran “apologized to its Middle Eastern neighbors and surrendered,” and promised not to fire on them anymore, attributing this to the “ongoing strikes by the United States and Israel.”
He stated that due to Iran’s actions, the U.S. is “seriously considering” expanding the scope of its strikes, including areas and groups that were not previously targeted.
