Techub News reports, citing sources familiar with the matter, that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) are discussing relocating to the same office in Washington, D.C., but the two agencies will not merge. This relocation plan has been under discussion since last year, and the move may not be implemented until 2027 at the earliest. The General Services Administration, which oversees federal real estate, is also involved in this matter.
