I feel that it is only a matter of time before a truly decentralized social platform designed specifically for Web3 emerges.

Why do I say that? The clues can be seen from the various actions taken after that billionaire took the helm of Weibo—platforms are continuously optimizing algorithms, forcibly pushing user traffic from the "Follow List" to the "Feed Recommendations."

The underlying game rules are actually very simple: competing for users' attention and time. All traffic allocation rights are controlled by the platform.

This logic simply doesn't hold in Web3. Users not only own their accounts but also have data ownership. Decentralized social platforms allow everyone to independently choose algorithms and control content, no longer being hostage to the platform's recommendation mechanisms.

The emergence of this model is most likely not a question of "if," but of "when."
