【Blockchain Rhythm】The Ethereum Foundation’s Developer Acceleration Team recently completed the x402 Hackathon. This hackathon brought together many interesting technical solutions, especially in the fields of payments and data services, with several projects worth noting.

The Superfluid team launched x402-sf, which is quite interesting — it directly integrates continuous subscription payments natively into the internet, enabling streaming payments through end-to-end subscription infrastructure. This is particularly helpful for scenarios that frequently require handling recurring payments.

Cheddr Payment Channels x402 focuses on efficient small-value payments, utilizing x402 payment channels to implement new ideas for circular and streaming payments, solving the efficiency issues of small transactions.

BackTrackCo developed x402r to address a practical pain point — users paying with x402 for data services but not receiving the goods. This tool can help initiate refund requests, protecting consumer rights. Such protection mechanisms are crucial for building a reliable data service market.

Streaming payments are indeed unavoidable, but can they really be implemented... Superfluid is back at it, with native on-chain subscription mode. It sounds great, but how is the gas fee calculated? With such high frequency small payments, how many people will actually use it? Is BackTrackCo's x402r going to have to wait another half year before it can be used? I'm a bit tired. Let's wait until they really get things running. Feels like another round of PPT revolution. When will Buildoors finally release something?
