Early on, an industry insider proposed a viewpoint. At that time, AI had not yet exploded, and this idea seemed somewhat ahead of its time. But looking back now, what he said is simply prophetic: the core contradiction faced by humanity is actually the intense clash between exponentially increasing data volume and the always limited computing power.

In recent years, AI technology has advanced rapidly, and the computational cost required for training large models has increased geometrically, making the scarcity of computing power increasingly apparent. As a participant with access to computing resources, one can see the shining value of computing power, but also become more aware of a practical problem: how to maximize the limited computing power at hand?

Ultimately, whoever can utilize limited computing resources more efficiently to handle the infinitely growing data demands will seize the opportunities of the era. This contradiction not only shapes the development trajectory of AI but is also reshaping the entire Web3 and blockchain ecosystem landscape.

Computing power is the new oil of the era; whoever hoards it wins.

technically speaking, the compute bottleneck isn't actually new... it's just that now everyone's pretending to discover it. interesting edge case: blockchain's been dealing with this constraint forever, just nobody calls it "exponential data vs limited resources." they call it "scalability crisis." same problem, different lipstick.

Computing power is the new oil of the new era; it's about time to recognize this. Holding onto computing power = holding onto the future. This logic makes sense. Data explosion vs. scarce computing power—whoever breaks the deadlock wins. So those stacking computing power now are betting on the future. Web3 can't escape this logic either. Interesting. With such high costs for computing power, small players are facing increasing competition. A prediction? More like an inevitable rule. The key is how to make good use of the limited computing power you have; wasting it would be a huge loss.

The scarcity of computing power is indeed a real advantage; whoever can master this will definitely come out on top.
