Recently, there has been a clear phenomenon in the privacy sector: ZEC and XMR, the leading players, have surged sharply, and the subsequent funds are starting to look for other assets to catch up, with DASH just right in this position.
From the perspective of actual fund operations, it's not that everyone suddenly believes in DASH's future narrative. Basically, it's a combination of several factors: they all belong to the privacy concept, have relatively lower market caps, and haven't yet caught up with their previous gains. For short-term and trend-following funds, this logic is enough.
Essentially, this situation is just an alternative choice under sector rotation, not a fundamental change in the underlying assets. Whether this logic can continue depends on one condition: whether the sentiment in the privacy sector remains alive. Once ZEC or XMR starts to weaken, those assets that are catching up are often the first to pull back.
So, this is more about rhythm and sentiment. The opportunity for catch-up gains can be participated in, but never treat it as a new leading asset.
